Attention Men: You are invited to a very special “Born In the Barn” event on Monday night, November 10th, 6:00 p.m. at the farm of Jeff Tischhauser, 1072 IL – 143, Pocahontas. This is the Monday night before Veteran’s Day and we will be paying special homage to our local veterans, especially those we’ve lost this past year. A guest speaker from Scott AFB will bring a message of faithful living and serving, along with a “trivia event” that will showcase a few of the men’s knowledge of military and world history. As always, a great meal will be provided along with delicious desserts and there is no cost to attend. Bring you sons or grandsons, consider inviting a friend or someone you know that would be blessed by the evenings events.
